Say it with a Sock Review

I recently had the chance to try out the sock of the month club Say it with a Sock. Its available for men, women, and children, where children is actually split separately between boys and girls. Besides who gets the sock, you get to pick a frequency and style, where style is either graphic or pattern, or both.
The Say it with a Sock subscription I tried showed up in a special holiday box. It seems we got a bonus of a holiday hat this month, with stockings on it to keep up with the socks imagery. More typically, they'll show up in a poly bag with just the socks.

Pricing for a socks subscription is $11.99 per month, where you can cancel at any time. Typically, if you subscribe for a longer period of time the monthly cost goes down. Not so the case with Say it with a Sock. Instead, the per month cost for a 6 or 12 month subscription is $12/month, or $72 and $144 respectively. True, it is only a penny more per month. Just seems odd to be higher. Also, for an additional $8/month, you can get a second pair of socks.
The socks you receive are crew in height and cotton in material. They are super comfortable to wear. I like crew height socks and tend to prefer cotton unless I'm looking for something more breathable. There isn't an option for shorter socks if you prefer the ped/footie socks.
Besides the Christmas themed socks this month, my box contained graphic cherry socks, with pairs of cherries throughout. That left just enough room in the holiday box for the hat.
Once you empty the box, you will see part of the company's mission printed on the bottom or you can read about it on their website. Basically, they support a homeless support organization called lava mae, where they donate thousands of socks each year.

Sock of the month subscriptions are certainly a popular gift item, and Say it with a Sock is a good choice to make in that space. With options for those looking for either loud & out there socks or formal & subdued, plus subscriptions for everyone, not just men, they can meet the needs of the whole family besides the family pet. Too bad they don't offer a monthly family subscription plan where everyone in the household can get their own socks in one shipment. I certainly liked the socks I received and would continue with a subscription if I wasn't so overun with socks at the moment.

Monday 12/17 is the last day you can order a subscription with guaranteed delivery for Christmas. Use coupon code SOCKMAS on the checkout page to get a free Christmas bundle with your 1st month's shipment. Available while supplies last. Offer ends at 11:59 pm (PT) on 12/17/18.
