GRDE Wireless Stereo Headset Review
Do you like to listen to music when you're working out? Are you tired of being wired to your music device? The HV-900 Bluetooth Headset from GRDE offers you the option of listening to your music wirelessly by connecting their neckband stereo headset to your device. You then listen through the in-ear earbuds.

The headset uses Bluetooth 4.0 so you can pair to any of the latest Bluetooth devices. Pairing was easy to my mobile. You can then listen to your music or make hands-free phone calls through the microphone. The available buttons let you adjust volume, play or skip tracks, and also pause your music. You can even mute your calls, though that's a little tricky, requiring you to press and hold both volume buttons at the same time.

Where this differs from many other headsets I've tried is the neckband. Instead of wearing something on top of your head, or something heavy hanging from your ears, the band rests around your neck. You then disconnect the earpieces from the magnets at the end and place in your ears. The earbuds stay in your ear quite well while working out. You then reconnect when done so apart from a loose wire, nothing really dangles loosely when carrying around.

Sound quality is great through the headphones with most digitized music. Unless you're playing music sampled at a super high rate, you won't notice any difference compared to a high end headset. You're going for comfort here, not high fidelity. For the $20-$25 sale price, you get strong bass and high volume. You will get a better sound out of a $200 headset, but you'll never wear those while working out. These stay in the ear while bouncing around on a treadmill or riding a bike.

The box claims 10 hours of music or 11 hours of talk time. For me, it lasted long enough for a typical workout. I didn't try to go for extremes to see if it would empty out. The recharge port has a little cover over it making it a little awkward to charge but worked fine.

If you're looking for an affordable wireless headset for working out, you won't be disappointed.
