Mrs. Fields Nibblers Cookies Review

I received this product for the purpose of this review. All opinions states are my own and may differ from yours.
I almost always enjoy food samples sent to me for review. Actually, I can't think of one that our family hasn't enjoyed. The latest is for some Mrs. Fields Nibblers Cookies. These are boxed, miniature versions of the popular cookies found in their typical mall store. Sized for the quick snack, versus typical their larger cookies.
I received three boxes of fifteen cookies each in flavors Milk Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Fudge, and Peanut Butter Cup. All of the cookies are fudge dipped. Along with the boxes of cookies came a cute little milk jug and some straws. I say cute for the milk bottle/jar because the top is too small to dunk the cookies. Too bad.

The cookies were sampled throughout my office at work and at home. A pregnant co-worker seemed to like them most, but I think she would have loved anything chocolate. Everyone loved the cookies with the only negative comment from one recipient being the chocolate flavoring came mostly from the fudge dipped part and not from the cookie itself. Otherwise, we could have easily gone through twice as many boxes. Just because the cookies are small doesn't mean you only want one.

Serving size is two cookies for 120 calories, or 60 calories a cookie. Percentage of calories form fat varies by cookie type.

I've yet to see these in stores, but once there, they should give Keebler and Girl Scout cookies a run for their money. While the cookies are miniature (Nibblers), they sure do pack lots of flavoring in there. Probably the only folks who won't like the cookies are those who don't like chocolate.

Supposedly, they're available at Kroger now, but they're not in my area. If you do have one available nearby, be sure to pickup a coupon from the Mrs. Fields Nibblers site. After signing up for one on their web site, they'll email you the coupon.

A couple of ideas to better enjoy the cookies. First, consider placing ice cream between a pair of cookies. Second, for the adult crowd, consider consuming them with a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. The chocolate in there should be loved.
No giveaway to go along with this review but, don't miss out on the Twitter party coming up this Saturday with Mrs. Fields. They'll be giving away $400 in prizes, including a 6 month treat of the month club membership. I did run across a giveaway on another blog, A Gal Needs, for some Mrs. Fields goodies. So, give that a try to win a basket, not the Nibblers cookies.

  1. OK, I'm strange. I'm not fond of chocolate cookies except for Girl Scouts Thin Mints.
