I recently received a pair of windshield wiper blades from EZwipers.com for review. I have to say, the timing couldn't have been better. The Boston-area got its first snow storm of the season this past weekend and we're getting hit with another one tomorrow supposedly. I really needed a new pair of blades as my current set had been leaving streaks galore and at just the wrong spot.
The process of getting wiper blades from EZwipers.com is simple. Just visit their site and plug in your car make, model, and year. They'll then present you with a list of available wipers at the right size. For my vehicle, I was presented with four different choices, starting at $7.95 per blade, up to $17.95 per blade. I think the last time the dealer replaced my wiper blades, it was $19.95 per blade, but I'd have to double check my bill to be sure, so EZwipers.com has very competitive prices.
After receiving the wiper blades, you need to install them yourself. I had done this before so the process wasn't totally new to me. It takes less than ten minutes to swap both, maybe double that the first time, worst case. It is very simple. One time, I actually did this in the drive through lane of a bank as I needed the cover from the rain. This time, I just did it at home, under cover of garage.
The difference in visibility is amazing and the new blades handled the weather well. No streaks, all clear, even in the rough wind and snow. I probably should change the rear blade on the vehicle, too. I don't think I've ever changed that one and it is practically useless these days. But, overall, an easy and inexpensive way to upgrade your wiper blades.
Now for the giveaway. Our giveaway is open to US residents, 18+. It runs until 1/5/2014 at 11:59 pm. The prize, a pair of wiper blades. Winner will provide year, make, and model of their car, along with mailing address, within 48 hours of notification of win. Otherwise, a new winner will be chosen.
You can also enter another Wiper Giveaway.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
If I were to win, I'd give to my sister for her vehicle which when I visited the site, I cannot remember the make of her vehicle but I noticed hers are getting bad, especially the passenger side.

ReplyDeleteI know I need new wipers, but just haven't had the time or funds to pick them up. I'd love to win this giveaway! I drive a 2006 Dodge Caravan and use it not only for family trips and errands, but I drive a lot of volunteer rescue transports for dogs and cats rescued from kill shelters going to rescues, fosters, and adopters. There's nothing like spending an hour or so with these wonderful furbabies while I'm driving them on to the next driver (it's like a tag-team with each driver driving anywhere from half an hour to a couple of hours and then transferring the "cargo" to the next driver). Driving safely is a must, and I recently got all new tires, but now need new wipers. Winter is here and I'm going to be needing them!

ReplyDeleteIt is my son's truck I would put these on as the ones he has are cracked and bits crumble and flake off when they are in use. It is a hazard if you really need them, and so often with cheap sets after a while being exposed to the sun they warp and do not lay flush to the windshield, thus are useless.
My wipers are in pretty good shape.
ReplyDeleteI just got new blades, but our winters are pretty rough on our blades up here in Upstate New York !!! So I normally have to replace them before Springtime !!
