Free Twitter Analytics

I try to post the occasional tech tip for bloggers. I don't do it nearly as frequently enough as I should. I ran across something today that I just had to share... Hopefully,  you'll find it as potentially useful as I do.

Most of us use Google Analytics to track our blog's page-level performance. Facebook has their little box in the Admin Panel of your Fan Page so you can see the reach of your posts there. Did you know that Twitter offers up their performance analyics too? Just stop on by, sign in with your twitter credentials, and check out the performance of your tweets.

You do need to go to Billing->Billing History and Switch to Advanced mode. Then, you'll see a new Analytics option appear on the top menu bar:
Twitter Analytics Menu
From there, you can see # of clicks, favorites, retweets, and replies for each and every tweet. I'm still learning my way around but it looks like this could be really helpful.

  1. I did not know about this. Will be checking it very soon!
