Google Chromecast Audio Review for Your Music Listening Pleasure! @BestBuy @Chromecast #ad

The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.
I'm part of Best Buy's blogger network and I occasionally get to try out some new cool stuff. Recently, I had the chance to try out Google Chromecast Audio. When Chromecast from Google was first introduced, it was a streaming video service that allowed you to stream shows, movies, music, sports and games to your TV from your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. They now offer an audio version of the product. With Google Chromecast Audio, you can play your music on your speakers new or old, wirelessly from your phone, laptop or tablet. Because Chromecast Audio uses WiFi instead of Bluetooth, you can stream crystal clear hi res sound.
A little while back I did a review of some Rosewill speakers. I like the sound of them but only use them with my laptop. I thought it would be cool to set them up with the Chromecast Audio. You basically just plug them into to the auxiliary port on the speakers and run through a setup app on your device.
Setup was a breeze, just following a bunch of prompts. As previously mentioned, you're using WiFi instead of Bluetooth, no pairing required. Since your device is already connected to WiFi, you can easily carry that over to the Chromecast Audio.

From there, you can play music anywhere with "wireless" speakers anywhere you want. All you need is power to plug the speakers and the Chromecast Audio in. Then...

1) Listen to your favorite tunes on your speaker
By using your phone, it’s easy to play, pause, or change the volume from anywhere in the home. And while streaming, you can still text or call without interrupting what's playing or draining your battery.

2) Crystal clear sound, powered by the cloud
Use Chromecast Audio to stream over Wi-Fi which has many advantages over Bluetooth including higher sound quality.

3) Enjoy hundreds of your favorite audio apps
Stream millions of songs, radio stations, and podcasts through apps like Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Google Play Music. Find more at chromecast.com/apps

4) Play music everywhere with Multi-room
Now you can easily fill every room in your home with synchronous music. Simply group Chromecast Audio devices together so you can listen to the same song on multiple speakers.

I loved listening to music from my phone on the bigger speakers. Yes, I have plenty of Bluetooth speakers and it just isn't the same. The quality is clearer with Chromecast Audio, partially because the speakers are just better quality, too. You also don't have the distance limitations of Bluetooth, though you still must be within range of the WiFi router. You can even synchronize multiple devices together to listen simultaneously in different rooms of your home. All this for just $30.
