SambaTribe T-Shirt Review and Giveaway

Enter the SambaTribe T-Shirt Giveaway. Ends 1/25
I recently received a t-shirt from a company called SambaTribe to try out and give a second away to the readers here. The company's products have a distinctive Brazilian flare. With a company name starting with Samba, you might make that connection without even seeing their products. Besides t-shirts, they also offer tote bags, hoodies, posters, and phone cases, too, with similar designs on each.
It's been a while since I've reviewed a t-shirt here. I received an email about an interesting one from SambaTribe and thought I'd check out the company and their t-shirts. They were awarded an award from a Spanish t-shirt blog, 1001 Camisetas. While I like my t-shirt collection, I can't imagine having 1,001 of them. If you don't know Spanish, camisetas means t-shirts.
The shirt I received was their Samba Night men's shirt. Their shirts aren't unisex. They also offer a different fit for women. All their designs are printed onto an American Apparel t-shirt. The shirt is 100% combed cotton, made in the USA from US and imported components. I like the feel of the t-shirt. It is soft and a heavier weight than I was expecting, but not too heavy. Being a black shirt, it might get a little hot in the summer, but you're probably okay. Besides not being unisex, their shirts also come in multiple colors if you wish to have a different color. The shirt's care instructions call for machine washing in cold, do not bleach, machine dry low, and low iron. After the first wash, everything still looks good.
The images on their t-shirts have a distinct style that I haven't seen elsewhere, giving you a feel for the Brazilian culture and style. Being older and married, I'm not sure how appropriate some of the shirts are for me, but I definitely like the style. When I showed the shirt I received to a musician friend, he initially thought a Cuban connection but then saw the Brazilian flare when he realized it was a tambourine and not a drum the guy in the hat was playing.

If you like the shirts, they go for $28, but... we have a special 10% off coupon code (JAVAJOHNZ10) you can use to bring the price down to just over $25. And, they offer free shipping worldwide, so that price includes the shipping. Long sleeve shirts are unisex and go for $32 and hoodies $52, but there aren't as many styles of those. But, you can still save 10% off on those. The code works on the complete order.

The giveaway is for their award winning Samba Night design t-shirt, pictured at top. Winner gets to choose size, color, and whether for men or women. The giveaway is open to US residents only who are 18+. (Sorry CA folks, while testing out Gleam, I have only so many slots in the giveaway form.) It runs through 11:59 pm EST on 1/25/17. See Giveaway Rules for more complete rules. Good luck.
