Nickerbacher Book Review and Giveaway

Enter the Nickerbacher Book Review and Giveaway. Ends 1/22
You might remember the Nickerbacher: The Funniest Dragon book I did a review and giveaway of way back in March 2015. The author, Terry John Barto, has recently published a follow-on book titled just Nickerbacher. While the prior book targeted the 4-8 year old crowd, this one comes in slightly older as an early chapter book, less pictures, more words per page, and no color inside. Terry also authored the Gollywood, Here I Come book I reviewed back in October 2014.

Nickerbacher is a dragon and aspiring comedian who travels to La La Land to audition for The Late Knight Show. Hoping to prove to his father - and the world - that dragons can be funny. Nickerbacher befriends a prince and a princess who help him realize his dream while paving the way for equal rights of all citizens.

The book is just over 50 pages spread across six chapters. It starts with the princess telling Nickerbacer, the dragon, that he needs better jokes if he wants to be on TV. It then follows his trail through audition and coach before eventually landing on stage.

It is a fun book to read which might trigger a few laughs. The book teaches the importance of having good friends and setting goals / having dreams, even if your parents don't agree. You see, dad thinks dragons should only guard princesses. Great addition to a child's library.
And, now for the giveaway... First off, I'm trying out a new giveaway form with this giveaway. Instead of Giveaway Tools, I'm trying out Gleam. Please leave comments about old vs. new way if you feel one way or the other, or if something isn't working right.

The giveaway is for your own copy of the Nickerbacher book. It is open to US residents who are 18+ and ends at 11:59pm EST on January 22nd, 2017. Good luck.
