Do you like giving personalized children's books as presents? I See Me! has been creating personalized children's books for 15 years. I last reviewed them back in 2013. I had the chance recently to try them out again. I received their Magical Snowman! book, coloring book, and Christmas ornament.
Like most of their other picture books, you can create a customized dedication in the book, with picture. The child will immediately realize this is a special book and not just a picture book for reading. Of course, their name on the cover might help to do this, too.
Individual pages of the story are then interspersed with your child's name. This also includes the background images, too, and not just the text, as seen above the snowman above.
Most books run about $30-$35, plus shipping, which is free on orders of $75 or more. Some books include sing along CDs or other props to go along with the titles.
The stories read well and the pictures easily go along with the stories and are typically bright and inviting. You'll find different age ranges for the different titles. Many are 0-6, others a little higher. For the younger crowd, a parent reading the book to child should work well. For the parents with older children... you can certainly let them read the books on their own but once they get too old, they'll find these personalized books corny. That isn't a reflection on the books themselves.
You can find more information about I See Me! from their social media connections, or just check out their catalog. They have books for many occasions and also boy/girl-specific versions when the title warrants it. They even do personalized place mats for eating time.Disclosure: I received the above mentioned product for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received.
