Multi Threat Shield Laptop Bag Review

Multi Threat Shield Laptop Bag Review
It looks and acts like a regular laptop bag, but it is not. With all the violence going on in the world lately, I felt the need to share about this laptop bag. What makes it so special? It is the letters MTS. It is a multi-threat shield. Quite simply, it can stop bullets and provide a level of safety if you're ever in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If you ever end up facing an intruder or in an active shooter environment, with the quick flick of the wrist, you can swiftly and easily deploy a three-foot long blanket of protection to defeat multiple impacts from most handgun, shotgun, and pistol caliber submachine gun threats. It is not foolproof, especially with higher caliber weapons, but the laptop bag could just save your life. Besides guns, it can also protect you from knife attacks, too.
The outside pouch is approximately 14” x 10” and expands to approximately 2” deep, giving you enough room for most common size laptops. When deployed properly, providing 639 square inches of ballistics coverage, the pocket remains facing up so the laptop should not fall out (assuming the velcro tabs on the outside pocket are sealed properly). Of course, there is no guarantee of the laptop not falling or of your life, but it can give you a little peace of mind, knowing the option is available for this crazy world we live in.

No, I did not get one to try out. Even if I did, I do not have the means to safely test it. For that, I'm relying on the lab certification:
The MTS™ is certified NIJ Level IIIA (Level III with optional Rifle Plate Insert). The MTS™ was tested by a National Institute of Justice approved laboratory for ballistic resistance in accordance with Modified/Abbreviated NIJ 0108.01, Threat Level IIIA. The results were “No Penetration,” and the MTS™ will not fold or bend when shot.
This protection does not come cheap. The MTS™ has a retail price of $799 from the Force Training Institute. For more information and purchasing, visit: http://forcetraining.com/products/mts.
