This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.I have a nine-year old child. He frequently wants to get out of the house and do something. It is a common occurrence where he's bored and we have time but no real plans on what to do. What I've been turning more and and more to lately is Groupon's Things to Do.
Instead of paying full-price to do something, we first visit Groupon and see what there are offers for. From there, we can pick out of the many discounted activities available. Several are immediate activities while others may require advanced scheduling. Personally, I always like checking the events area as that's a category with activities I enjoy. Typically, you can bring a friend and save on multiple tickets.
If you have a child and frequent the movies, the Movie section is another area to explore. You may find discounted tickets for that upcoming feature or learn about a fun indie film that looks appealing that you've never heard of.
More often than not, we pick something to do that we've never heard of or never would have considered without the discount.
If you're sitting around doing nothing with not a lot of money in your pocket and that budget is a little thing, be sure to check out the activities you can enjoy at a discount with Groupon Things to Do
