Luggage Scale Giveaway

As the schools start to end for the year, the summer travel season will soon be upon us. One thing nowadays you have to worry about more than before is overweight luggage. Fees from the airlines have gotten a little ridiculous here. To help prevent getting charged, it is a good thing to weigh your luggage before leaving for the airport, when it is easiest to repack things or move items around between bags.
While you can certainly weigh your luggage on your regular scale to get a reading, an easier way to get an accurate weight is to use a luggage scale. Just strap the scale to the handle of the bag and lift. Typical luggage scales, like the one here, go up to 50 kg or about 110 pounds. Overweight fees vary by airlines but can start at as low as 50 pounds.
And, now for the giveaway... You can win your own luggage scale. We're giving away a red one. The Amazon seller sent me two. One to review and one to giveaway. The giveaway is open through 5/31/16 at 11:59 pm EDT and is open to US residents who are 18+. (Void where prohibited.)
Disclosure: I received the above mentioned product for the purpose of this review. No other compensation was received. All opinions stated are my own and may differ from yours. See my disclosure policy for more information.
