The Metropolitan Opera has three shows left on their April schedule. You can visit a (relatively) local theater and watch the live event as it is happening in New York City. Get the family interested in the arts or just come and watch the live opera without physically being there. In case you can't be there for the live performance, they even show an encore performance a few days later. Same show, different day and time.
Here's the remaining schedule of shows:
The Met: Live in HD 2016 APRIL Schedule
MADAMA BUTTERFLY (Puccini)
April 2 – 12:55 p.m. ET
April 6 – Encore Performance
ROBERTO DEVEREUX (Donizetti)
April 16 – New Production 12:55 p.m. ET
April 20 – Encore Performance
ELEKTRA (R. Strauss)
April 30 – New Production 12:55 p.m. ET
May 4 – Encore Performance
You can check for tickets on Fandango to see what theaters near you have tickets. Just search by name of opera. Warning, many theaters are already sold out.
If you happen to live near the AMC Framingham 16 in Framingham, MA, we have tickets to give away. LOTS of them. In fact, we have 10 tickets to give away for each show. That is 60 tickets. Each winner will get 2 tickets so that is 30 winners. And... you can win multiple times, but just once per show.
