Berry Breeze Giveaway
Sponsor: Berry Breeze
Prize: Berry Breeze Refrigerator Sanitizer
BerryBreeze provides an uncomplicated solution to refrigerated food waste, a solution based in science and nature and packaged in efficient technology. Activated oxygen (O3) protects the upper atmosphere from radiation and purifies and sanitizes the air in our lower atmosphere. In a refrigerator or storage space, activated oxygen neutralizes bacteria, mold and other microbes by inhibiting ethylene gas that triggers decay. This keeps food in a “living” stage – on average, two to three times longer than normal – and staying fresh and odor-free.
Dates: 12/19-1/2

  1. I generally leave them in the grocery bags they came in.

  2. I currently just store them in the vegetable bin in the refrigerator.

  3. I try to keep my veggies and fruits in air tight containers or Ziplock baggies or the bags they come in but since nothing works that well I try to eat them, especially salad in a timely manner so they don't get wasted but it's not easy,I end up with something getting thrown out.

  4. Mostly I put a paper towel down in their bags to soak up any moisture. It helps mostly with the leafy green veggies I think.

  5. I use baking soda and store fruits and veggies in the temperature controlled bins

  6. I don't wash them right away. I find some fruits and veggies spoil faster once washed
