Pitbull Clothing Review

Do you (or your spouse) go to the gym regularly? Are you (or your spouse) into fitness and bodybuilding? I recently had the chance to checkout the apparel from Pitbull Gym. Since the company I work for recently opened up their new office space, I've been trying to go to the gym more regularly. It seemed like a good idea to try out what Pitbull offered.
Most of what Pitbull offers is for the folks who spend time at this end of the gym, with the weights primarily. This includes tank tops and hoodies, sweat pants and exercise t-shirts, as well as muscle tanks. Basically, anything that will make you look good while lifting.

For me, I spend my time at the gym in this other section. On the left is the rowing machine, where I try to keep the neck loose, where I have a pinched nerve. I'm also on the treadmill or elliptical when I go. And, probably most oriented towards the Pitbull wear is the leg press machine I do some reps on. I'm more interested my legs than my arms when working out personally.
The first item of theirs I looked at was their Jersey Ragtop in royal blue. It sells for $19.95 and also comes in black, grey, red, and white. If you're a small, their sizes can't support you, as this only comes in a medium, large, and extra-large. Some of their other items come in a XXL. Nothing comes in a small as it isn't even available in their search by size option. With that said, the shirt is a comfortable one to work out in. It has a very loose fit and is 100% cotton. I like cotton personally, but this particular shirt isn't built to wick the sweat away. Some of their other shirts are a blend with Lycra/Spandex for comfort. While the shirt is comfortable to work out in, the one thing I disliked about the shirt was machine wash cold, with hang drying or very low heat for best long term care.
Next up in the Pitbull wear for me to try out was a hoodie. They offer nine different varieties of hoodies, either with long sleeves or sleeveless. As you can see from the picture, I was with long sleeves. This particular hoodie is their Barbells Pullover Hoodie in heather grey. It sells for $29.99 and also comes in black, blue, and white. The site lists the material as a tri-blend. In actuality, it is 50% polyester, 25% cotton, and 25% rayon. This, too, requires machine wash cold and dry with low heat. The hoodie is very lightweight. It is not meant to keep you warm in the middle of winter, but it works out well when working out in the gym. Very loose so no issues when working with the rowing machine.

Besides tops, Pitbull also offers pants and shorts, including compression bike shorts. I really should bike some more myself but I'm not. The spin classes look interesting. Some of their clothing is also in a camo style. That definitely isn't for me but if you like that style, be sure to explore their site for those offerings.

If you're in the market for some workout-wear, be sure to visit Pitbull Gym for their clothing line. If you like dogs, you'll enjoy the attire with the pit bull on the front. If you're not into the dog thing, there is plenty available that is dogless. Just buying the clothing doesn't get you to the gym every day. You might look better when there, but be sure to check out what Pitbull has to offer so you look good when you do get there.
