Jedi Costume Review from Costume Discounters

With the release of the official trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, I thought it only appropriate to review my Halloween costume for this year: a Jedi Robe Costume. I received this from the folks at Costume Discounters.
The costume is a full length robe. At least for my 5'7" height, it is a good length. For someone 6' or more, might look a little small. I'm still working on the whole bit under the robe and I need to get a light saber but I the robe serves as the main part of the costume.

The material of the robe is very lightweight. It is made to appear as a woven cotton. Given the weather in Boston around Halloween, I'll need to wear a jacket underneath if I wear this while taking my son trick or treating. For the office Halloween party, this will be fine as that party is indoors.

There is no belt on the robe, nor should there be, so you'll need to be conscious of what you wear underneath if you want to present the authentic feel. Some kind of a tan outfit with a darker brown belt would be best. If I want to go all out, I'll need to pickup some boots, too.
The crew over at Costume Discounters has available a whole line of Star Wars costumes. There are new character costumes from the yet to be released movie, like Kylo Ren and Finn, as well as your old favorites Chewbacca and Darth Vader, along with many others. What I like most, though can't afford, is their supreme costumes that go for around $7-800. They appear so much better than their $40-$50 counterparts, but you're paying for that authenticity.

In the end, will be a great costume for the year.
