A little while back, I posted about some troubles I was having with Lowe's resolving a problem related to the wrong faucet being in the box I purchased. (I Hate Lowe's) I can happily say my Lowe's ordeal has finally been fully resolved.
After my first post, the manager Kevin personally delivered the right faucet to my house. I didn't have to buy it again. We then called the plumber for installation. They came quickly to replace. Our plumber sends their bill in the mail, so we had to wait for that before I could return the wrong faucet.
Last Friday, I went to return the faucet and get the plumber's bill taken care of. Curious to see how that was going to go. Unfortunately, Kevin was on vacation so I couldn't get everything resolved just yet. They did take the old faucet back and refunded the original amount to the credit card. I left the bill for when Kevin would be back the next day.
On Saturday, I get a call from Kevin. He doesn't want to just pay the plumber's bill because he gave us the replacement faucet and just wants us to get the difference. I'm fine with that. Our goal was to be made whole again, recovering any costs to get us back to what we originally wanted. I tell him to just send the balance as a gift card. The gift card arrived yesterday. I then went to the Lowe's Rant or Rave site and marked the problem as resolved.
