Urban Armor Gear Navigator Mobile Phone Case Review

My wife and I are both very rough with our phones. I've always had a case on my phone, but she prefers without as it adds a little bulk to the phone that she doesn't like, even if it is lightweight. Low and behold, she drops her phone and cracks the screen. Now it is time to prevent it from getting worse as she'll more than likely drop it again. That's where our latest review product comes into play.

Urban Armor Gear offers cases for your mobile phone or tablet. Whether you own an iPhone, Samsung, HTC, LG, Microsoft, or Google device, they'll wrap nearly any device for you with cases of various designs and styles. When on their site, you pick your device and they'll show you what they have available for that model.

For my wife's Samsung Galaxy S4, they have six different cases available. For a new model like the S6, there happens to be eight different cases to choose from. Most run $35 for the case if you buy through their web site.

Shop on Amazon though, and you might save a few bucks. The $35 Navigator model is just $21.20 there. When you order the case, not only do you get the hard plastic shell, but you also get an HD screen protector with cleaning kit to guard against scratches. I've put those on my phone in the past and they work well.

Will the case protect the phone if it is dropped? I can say yes, from experience, even if we did't mean to. But, more importantly, Urban Armor Gear has had the case endure Military Spec drop testing to ensure your device is protected.

Overall, a great lightweight option, with styling that I like and decent size buttons, that helps protect your phone over the long haul. Basically, it protects your investment to get maximum value when it is upgrade and ultimately trade in time.
