The byblight Lamp offers 20 white LED lights and multiple levels of brightness. Just hold the power button in to alter brightness. Clip it anywhere you want, or just have it rest on its base. It is very lightweight. So lightweight, my son carries it with him as he crawls under the bed or into his personal cave. It isn't meant to be a toy, but seems to have become one. It does get used as a lamp, too, but it seems to get mostly used as a pseudo flashlight.
The built-in rechargeable lithium battery can last a really long time, depending upon how bright you have the lamp set for. In testing battery duration, full brightness lasted just over 4 hours for me, before brightness was reduced. It then stayed on another 4 hours or so at a reduced brightness. At the lowest brightness, I'm sure it should come close to over 3 days. Why someone would leave it on for that long continuously I don't know.
The included power supply will recharge the lamp to full power in about 6 hours. The adapter has a color indicator to be green when fully charged and red otherwise. Also included is a bag that can hold the lamp and adapter. Handy for carrying around or just slipping into your luggage. The cable used to charge has a standard USB connector on one end. The end that plugs into the lamp is non-standard (circular), so you can't just swap out the cable for another you have handy.
My only complaint about the lamp, the touch control seems overly sensitive. I keep turning it on or off when I just intend to move it. My son doesn't appear to run into this problem, but I do.
Helpful lightweight LED lamp here. It clips onto nearly anything and with 20 LED lights is sufficiently bright for most needs.
