  4. I have my mother's pepper mill, which has to be at least 75 years old. The body is a barrel-shaped, bored-out wooden cylinder. I also have the only 2 cookbooks she ever owned, both WWII era. The recipes in the Better Homes and Gardens one were what I used when I first began to cook.

  15. It's my simple electric skillet. One of the least expensive items I own in the kitchen but I just love it. I have 4 kids so being able to cook up 8 pancakes at a time is awesome!

  40. I have a lot of treasured items in my kitchen, mostly items I got as wedding gifts or got from family members - dishes and various pots and pans. I think probably the one I love the most is a set of what should have been cheap microwave cookware that doesn't even have a brand name on it. I got it right after we got married and while I only use a few pieces of it, the stuff has been an absolute workhorse for nearly 19 years. It works so well.

  52. My most treasured item in my kitchen is a silver bowl and my grandmother and I use to spend every weekend night with her growing up and we watched Friday Fright night and eat popcorn and that was our popcorn bowl. It holds some of the best memories I have of her.
