Ignite Your Senses Sponsor: Inateck BP2001 Bluetooth Stereo Speaker Review

I received this product for the purpose of this review. All opinions states are my own and may differ from yours.
I first reviewed this product back in September 2014. Now, you have a chance to win one for yourself as they're a sponsor for the Ignite Your Senses event as part of the MOON (Make Our Own Network) group.

I recently had the chance to review yet another Bluetooth speaker. This time it was the BP2001 model from Inateck. This one is a stereo speaker and can act as a stand for your phone or tablet. You don't need to place the phone/tablet in the cradle at the top of the speaker but it allows you to more easily see the display when listening to the music.

Here it is holding both my phone and tablet. Both fit quite well.
When the unit is holding a tablet, you do want to extend the arm in the back to brace the unit. That way it won't fall over. It isn't really necessary with a phone but can't hurt with some of the newer phablet size models.

As far as sound goes, as previously mentioned, it is a stereo speaker system. Each of the two pack 5W of power. This allows the whole speaker to put out some decent power and handle the bass in songs like Radioactive from Imagine Dragons quite well. It will easily handle the audio for a phone call, too. There is very little distortion as you increase the volume to the max.

Setup/syncing to the phone was easy, letting you get up and working very quickly. Volume control is only on the device, though, not the speaker. There is an on/off switch on the unit, and the silver button in the middle lets you use the microphone to answer a phone call.

If you're looking for a Bluetooth speaker with a cradle for your phone/tablet, the Inateck model should meet all your needs. It isn't small, but it also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack to handle non-Bluetooth devices, too. It lets you play your music really loud and very clear. I like the unit when I need a cradle. If you don't need the cradle, though, you might be more interested in one of Inateck's other speakers.
