Chicken Soup for the Soul: Reboot Your Life Book Review

A new year and I couldn't resist saving the review of this book for today. We're entering my third years as a Chicken Soup for the Soul blogger, where they send me books throughout the year to explore. A review of this book follows well after the Power of Forgiveness review last week. This book is subtitled 101 Stories about finding a New Path to Happiness. And, that's truly what you get. Imagine hitting the reset button 101 different times and seeing what happens. That's what you have here. At least you read what happens to others when they reset.

The stories vary from couples turning over a healthier life to recovering from midlife crises, to finding a way to not do nothing right. What to do after getting that big wake up call. When you watch those reality shows where the contestant said they had to put their dreams aside to support their family and were now putting those dreams back in the forefront, that's what many stories in this book are about.

Here's the ten chapters in this book:
  1. Do It Now
  2. Follow Your Heart
  3. Take a Chance
  4. Find Your Purpose
  5. Start Over
  6. Mind Your Health
  7. Overcome Adversity
  8. Listen to Your Friends
  9. Take Time for You
  10. Adjust Your Attitude
Don't let those dreams linger for yourself after reading these uplifting stories. I still think the Power of Forgiveness is a more powerful set of stories, but this one is a great set of inspirational stories, showing how people change and grow.

  1. It sounds like a good book to read when you are stuck in a rut in life.
