Looking to schedule posts to Instagram? There are plenty of tools I've found to schedule for Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Now I'm trying out Autogrammer to schedule instagram posts . Not only can you schedule posts with Autogrammer, but you can manage multiple accounts at a time, scheduling to each. Perfect for the social media manager out there.
After choosing an image to post, you're prompted to crop it. Then, there is a full fledged photo editor, with some interesting effects. The text gives you a kind of postcard effect, overlaid over the picture.
After you upload the image and make any adjustments, you go to the above screen to enter the caption and schedule the post. The first time you try to post, it will most likely fail and you'll need to visit your Instagram page to confirm it was really you. From then on, you're good.
The one drawback, price. It isn't free. To manage the first five accounts, it is $19 / account / month. The price changes to $15 / account / month for six-ten accounts. Eleven-twenty accounts is $12 / account / month. The changeovers result in some odd pricing, like it is cheaper to manage six than five accounts, but otherwise a monthly charge for you in the long run to help you manage all the accounts. You do get a 7 day free trial to try it out, so you don't have to pay right away.
I like the app. I'd love to be able to use it regularly, as it is easier to post from the desktop than the phone. I'd schedule posts to Instagram much more regularly with it. I don't personally have the need to post to multiple accounts, but I can see where that is extremely helpful. For myself, I can't justify the cost for just one account. If you have the need, this is a great resource to use that can save a boatload of time and effort.
