Spend Those Gift Cards on Winning Moves Games
The folks over at Winning Moves sent over some more games to review/highlight. I've worked with them in the past and reviewed them before (Winning Moves Games Review and Giveaway et al.). With all those gift cards from the holidays, it seemed a good time to revisit them.

We have a soon-to-be eight year old in the family. He's finally/slowly getting into playing board games. He was good with Trouble in the past, but he's just getting the hang of games like Battleship and Life. He still is a bit of a sore loser, but he's learning he can't always win, and when he does, he can't be in your face about it and be a spoiled winner.
As far as Winning Moves goes, they manufacture the familiar games for family game night. Those classic games you had as a child yourself and now want to share with your child. We got to play with the super-sized versions of Monopoly and Boggle, as well as the classics for Clue and Pay Day. Clue's still a bit of a learning curve, but soon he'll do well with it. Our son is actually pretty good with Boggle for his age. Great speller.
In addition to board games, they also have jigsaw puzzles, for now. Apparently, these will be going away soon so watch for a sale to unload what's left. Both 300 and 1000 piece. Cute with some interesting shaped pieces in there.

If on the market for games throughout the year, do remember to consider the classics that Winning Moves makes. Many of these games are made exclusively for Hasbro by Winning Moves. We'll continue to enjoy these for years to come.
