My Stunning Abode Antibacterial Shower Curtain Liner Review

I received this product for the purpose of this review. All opinions states are my own and may differ from yours.
Are shower curtain liners that big of a deal? I typically grab one from Christmas Tree Shop for $1 whenever I need a replacement. Why do I need a replacement? Typically because my son has pulled the top off its ring. Quite a few rings actually. For $1, I don't mind replacing but lately they've also been losing magnets on the bottom and getting a bit mildewy. Thanks to Tomoson, I recently had the chance to review an antibacterial shower curtain from My Stunning Abode. Has my mind changed?

The shower curtain sells for $11.99 on sale at Amazon, regularly $20.99. Is buying one for $12, better than having to buy 12 for $1, assuming it lasts as long as 12 of the cheaper ones would. It is a little early to give a definitive answer, but in the short term, it seems absolutely yes.

Why would I pay over ten times as much for something? Quite simply, its the grommets. The key reason I've had to replace shower curtains is they get pulled apart at the top. This has reinforced metal grommets that hopefully will help them last longer.

I may actually buy a second one of these. In our other bathroom, the shower curtains last a little longer. There, they have a different issue. Mildew builds up on them. This shower curtain is mold and mildew resistant, too.

Other things the shower curtain offers:
  • six magnets on the bottom instead of the more typical three
  • made from environmentally friendly PEVA
The shower curtain is also a bit more heavy duty than I'm used to. Overall, a great product that serves its purpose well. Well worth the extra cost.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Read my Disclosure

  1. I always go for the cheap ones too. Whenever I finally decide to buy a new one is when I see the horrible discoloration. Which should be a sign that its been way to long and should have changed it a long time ago.
