  1. Lots of fluids to 'pee' the germs out. I don't know or care whether that is just the 'placebo effect', but it seems to help a lot. I also take echinacea and oil of oregano.

  13. As soon as I start feeling sick, I break out the orange juice and Nyquil and get some rest. It usually goes away. Of course, I watch my hands a lot too

  16. The simplest tricks work for me -- regular sleeping schedule, staying hydrated with water and green tea, Vitamin C supplements -- that's what it's all about!

  24. My remedies are bed rest, a nice hot cup of tea with just a small pinch of salt to ward of nausea, a cuddly blanket, and a nice bowl homemade chicken soup.

  25. Remedies that work for me are to stay warm even when you don't feel like it, drink plenty of fluids, including juice and tea, wash your hands frequently, and use hand sanitizer too!

  28. My tips include constantly washing your hands, stay hydrated, and take multivitamins. I think it is important to use antibacterial wipes on surfaces like door knobs and remotes because germs easily spread around. If you are already sick be sure to get plenty of rest.
