  13. I've personally never done it but my Mama used to when I was younger. I've watched her can what seems like thousands of things. Over the Winter it was like having fresh vegetables all Winter long.

  17. I used to can with my Mom and continue to can and freeze from my small garden - nothing beats home canned veggies/fruits in the winter!

  20. I made apple butter a few years ago and LOVED it, but haven't been able to do it the past few years with babies hanging on me. I hope to make some soon now that my last is not a newborn anymore!

  23. I can all the time! You can can everything from butter to make it shelf stable for years to cake mixes to all of your own food such as spaghetti sauce and fresh veggies while they are on sale to make them last through the winter!

  28. Yes I've always canned with my Mother. I think I started helping at age twelve. We did lots of stewed tomatoes and we also did lots of Jam. My goal now is to do canning of my own. It would be nice to own my own canning equipment so that I can do my own without borrowing them from my Mother. Thanks for sharing this review and giveaway~!
