Doctor On Demand App Review and Target GC Giveaway

This is a sponsored conversation on behalf of Doctor On Demand.  All opinions are my own.
Doctor on Demand App
Read the review of the Doctor On Demand app, try it out for yourself (save $10 w/ code JJZ14), then enter to win a $200 Target gift card. US residents only for the giveaway, with an ending of 7/22.

Everyone gets sick when they can easily get to the doctor, right? The doctor has an appointment available at your opportune time or you're even in a state where you can drive to the doctor. Not. We're frequent visitors to those walk-in clinics, whether at the local pharmacy or elsewhere. It is just more convenient to see the doctor on your schedule. The Doctor On Demand mobile app provides you with that access to a US-licensed physician on your schedule. After downloading the app, just make a video call from your mobile, and be seen by the doctor when you want to. All for just $40 for 15 minutes, about the cost of a typical co-pay.

This is not the place to call with chest pains, broken bones, or poisoning. But, if you have a less critical situation like cold, cough, flu, allergies, rashes, pink eye (conjunctivitis), hay fever, asthma, bladder infections, or just pediatric questions, this is the place to call on your schedule. They even work when you just need a referral. For more details, see their overview.

I tried it out myself when I wasn't feeling well last Thursday night, July 3rd. No way was my doctor in that late and it was a long weekend to boot. The doctor I spoke with was friendly and helpful, and dealt with my problem in about 10 minutes. It was relatively quick to connect. My biggest complaint was the time the app took to find my location. It was a video call, and she had a headset on while we chatted.

The place is co-founded by Dr. Phil's kid Jay McGraw. His dad is on board as an advisor. The doctors are all US-licensed / board certified, background checked, and supposedly, highly educated.

Want to give it a try? You can get $10 off a Doctor On Demand call with code JJZ14, making it just $30 to try out. Find them on Facebook and Twitter to connect with their fans. Download Doctor On Demand on iTunes or download Doctor On Demand in Google Play. Just download the app and register. No payment required. For the first ten people who send me proof that they registered with my code, I'll send you a different code good for a free 15-minute call.

We would like to celebrate the fact that you can now talk to a board certified doctor (on demand!) from the comfort of your own home, thanks to the Doctor On Demand app.... with a great giveaway.

  1. What a great app. Doctors on command can help when I'm not sure what to do when my kids or I get sick or hurt with a minor injury.

  2. I like that you get to talk to a real doctor when you need one. It seems like my girls like to get sick when their dr's office is closed. I think it looks like something I may use if the need should come. thank you!
