  1. My favorite thing to grow is rose bushes! My dad who is 92 and now lives in a senior residence had rose bushes in his yard. They were his hobby and the most gorgeous roses you have ever seen. So now he comes over and helps me with mine!

  14. Our favorite thing to grow is tomatoes. Last year we had about 5 cherry tomato plants and a couple of large size tomatoes. The cherry tomatoes grew alright, but the large ones cracked when they got to size. We are going to figure out what happened and try it again this year. We use them mostly in salads, but if we can get a lot of the large size tomatoes to grow, we are going to can some sauces for the winter.
