  4. We lost two babies before we finally had our daughter. At the hospital, my mom gave me a Willow Tree figuring of a mom and dad holding their baby, and it represented us getting to hold one of our babies in our arms for the first time. Unfortunately it fell off a shelf and shattered only months later.

  24. Money was always tight in my family; this made us understand the statement "Better to give then receive"! This was often done when my family & I went to retirement homes or hospitals and visit as guests to those that dont often / never receive a visitor. This often was are start to the visit, because as we started to leave, we often sand a musical that they could relate to!

Moreover the most memorable was when we had family reunions and the time was spent at my grandparents home! They blessed each of us with an adventure: all the while my side of the family often created the main-course and decorations while the rest of the family brought a dish of their own. At the end I use to do the dishes and take orders for the dessert. This was a time that I can recall.... it has past but the memory will always remain in my heart!

  29. My husband and I had a spat when we were first married. He left on his motorcycle and I didn't hear from him for two days. When he came home, he came in crying and had a small box and handed it to me. It was two little salt and pepper shakers that said Happy 25th Anniversary. He then proceeded to tell me that he was sorry and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. We were married for 28 years, he passed in 2010 at the age of 47, very unexpectedly. I still have those little salt and pepper shakers, I wouldn't take ten million dollars for them. :)
