To help promote the show, NBC is giving away $100,000 for a home renovation. And, we're giving away a $50 Lowe's gift card, too.

  26. My home makeover would be an updated kitchen and bathrooms throughout the house. It would include fresh paint and new carpeting throughout the house. And to get extra greedy, new energy efficient storm window, maintenance free vinyl siding and some fresh landscaping with a new fence.

  30. I would tear down the wall between our two bathrooms and make the master bathroom bigger than a closet and make the guest bathroom smaller than an extra bedroom!! I would add a double sink and a jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom.

  33. Top to bottom overhaul, starting with gutting the kitchen and starting from scratch ....then new flooring throughout, new lighting and closet built ins, and a totally re-landscaped yard.

  65. I would start with updating my full bathroom and expanding my half bath into a full bathroom. Next we'd move to the garage, finishing it to turn it into a den/schoolroom. After updating things like appliances, paint jobs, and a few pieces of furniture (hello bedrooms), I'd move outside and have someone help me design and plant an edible garden, complete with fenced yard and potting shed for my necessary equipment. I've got big plans ;-)

  77. First I would add another bedroom since the girls have to share one right now. Then I would add a fan to the bathroom (no easy task since we live in a very small log cabin). Then I would redo the floor in the bathroom and carpet throughout the house!

  80. Our house is literally falling apart. I would use it to fix the floors in the bathroom and kitchen, and the ceiling in th living room. I would then move on to the bathroom upstairs that is completely useless. I would also fix the stairs.... That would probably spend all of it. :/

  92. It's tempting to say "tear it down and start all over!" ... But our 120+ year old home does have some awesome elements that are worthy of saving /restoring...

    But we'd HAVE to start with the Kitchen which was bad enough to begin with (absurd design and decor - not ours) - but then it was virtually destroyed by a fluke flood... So it needs to be completely "renovated" (floor to ceiling!) and expanded to include two surrounding rooms... EVERYTHING needs to be replaced! Thanks!
