MIRA Stainless Steel Kitchen Scale Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
MIRA Stainless Steel Kitchen Scale Review
In the market for a new kitchen scale? I recently received the Stainless Steel Kitchen Scale from MIRA for review, their model ST125. It measures just under 9"x6" and can handle up to 11 pounds (5 kg). It can also measures in grams, fluid ounces, and milliliters.

The scale comes with just two buttons. A units button that swaps between the different measuring units and an On/Off/TARE button. The TARE function will take the weight of the container into account and zero out the scale. This means that you really don't need measuring cups/spoons when baking. Just zero out the scale after adding each ingredient. You don't really need the Off button either as it will turn itself off if not used for one minute.
It was time to replace our older scale. It was made of plastic, didn't clean very easily, and was starting to show its age. The MIRA scale is stainless steel. This thing is so much easier to clean. It does leave fingerprints behind but I think we can live with that. My favorite part of the unit is the large display area. Thankfully the two measured the same so at least the older scale didn't lose out there, but still the newer unit seemed like an upgrade.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
