I finally got around to cleaning up the grill for the summer so I can barbecue at home. With that said, I gave grilling at home a break for the day and took my son over to LongHorn Steakhouse to let them grill. My wife needed a break, too, from a crazy week so it was just the two of us dining together for a change.
I'm typically a fan of getting ribeyes when I dine out for steak. However, when I saw Longhorn's Steaks That Sizzle menu items, offering three boldly topped sirloins, I couldn't pass one up. They offered a smoky double bacon sirloin, spicy jalapeño cheddar sirloin, and a bold balsamic BBQ sirloin. The spicy one was perfect for me, though I probably would have been satisfied with any of the three. I got it with a chopped salad and some grilled corn on the cob to boot.
