Solid Cordz Extension Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Solid Cordz
Do your power strips sit half empty because of oversized AC adapters? I recently ran across a product that will help solve this problem, without having to buy a new/second power strip. They're called Solid Cordz and offer a 1 foot extension that allow you to plug the big bulky power connector to the Cordz, then plug the other end of the Solid Cordz to the power strip.

Solid Cordz in Power Strip
It is actually that easy. And it does open up several plugs that otherwise would require one to have a separate power strip to plug in the same number of adapters. They are CSA listed / UL approved and very heavy duty to boot.

If you happen to have a mixed set of sizes for AC adapters, you don't have to use all five in one power strip. Just use the extensions with the AC adapters that require one.

Amazon sells a five-pack of these for $15, where the regular price is $30. So, at $3 each, you have to figure is it cheaper to buy a second power strip, and daisy chain them, or pickup Solid Cordz and take advantage of the original set of outlets? Or, pickup one of those newer power strips with these essentially built in, one that looks like an octopus with multiple arms. If you need these to use with your UPS, it would definitely be cheaper to use something like these vs. getting a second UPS
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
