CVS MinuteClinic And You #MC

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CVS MinuteClinic. I received promotional items as a thank you for participating.

MinuteClinic: the medical clinic in CVS/pharmacy
I have a regular physician and do my best to see her regularly. Sometimes, she just isn't available when I am, or I feel the need to take care of my situation sooner than I can get in to see her. When that happens, I've visited the local MinuteClinic at CVS. Most recently, that happened when I thought I had strep throat. I figured it would just be quicker to visit the MinuteClinic than try to get an appointment at the doctor's office. And results from the rapid strep test provided the answer I needed much quicker than the same test from the doctor's office.

Not familiar with MinuteClinic? The MinuteClinic is a walk-in clinic located in selected CVS/pharmacy stores in 28 states and DC. They are open 7 days a week with evening hours and you don’t need to make an appointment!

Cold, cough, and flu illnesses don’t wait until your primary care physician’s visiting hours to strike. What does your family do when you or your family needs care outside of visiting hours? I could have visited my local MinuteClinic at 8 am before my doctor's office was even open.

MinuteClinic can be a convenient and affordable option, especially during the winter months when physician offices may not be able to provide a timely appointment and the ER and urgent care centers have longer wait times and higher costs.

The nicest thing I've found when visiting a MinuteClinic inside a CVS... its a great one-stop shop to also pickup any meds that might get prescribed, or just your general cold, cough, and flu needs. Can't tell the difference between the cold and flu? Here's a article offering some great help.

  2. They just opened one at a CVS near me, I will have to try it out next time I am sick instead of waiting two weeks to get a doctors appointment.
