Chicken Soup for the Soul: It's Christmas
Are you a fan of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books? I recently received their It's Christmas book for review. All their books can almost get the same review. It is full of 101 feel good stories, with a theme. This time Christmas. How many, though, can say they start with a letter from Santa himself. It mentions how the book "keeps the magic alive for everyone."
The book itself is broken down into ten sections, each with roughly ten stories. Filling the book with the typical 101.
  • The True Meaning
  • Miracles Happen
  • Santa's Elves
  • From the Mouth of Babes
  • Bark! The Herald Angels Sing
  • The Naughty List
  • A Little Help from My Friends
  • Holiday Hijinks
  • Bittersweet Christmas
  • Making Memories
Singlehandedly, I have to say my favorite section is Bark! The Herald Angels Sing. We're dog people and the stories here are great, though some sad. And there is the occasional cat story there, too, but we can forgive that this time of year.

My other favorite section, 20 pages of Meet the Contributors. I like reading about the different people who shared their own unique stories. Most aren't regular authors, just your average Joe, who was willing to open up. And they certainly don't disappoint.

If you're a fan of the Chicken Soup of the Soul series and a believer in Christmas, the book is full of stories about love, fun, and the wonders of the holiday. It will be hard to put down. Thankfully, the stories are all short, so it will be easy to pickup again and not have to worry much about where you left off.
