Wexy Colorful Character Snack Bags Review

Wexy Lunch & Munch Bags
I never heard of Wexy before but, thanks to a review opportunity, I had the chance to review their colorful character snack bags. With school now starting, I thought it would be great for my son to take into school. We didn't use them all up last month so we have a few left for school.

I first brought the bags out on a play date with friends when we were out hiking. They're great for holding snacks. But, what I liked more about them for hiking is they are biodegradable. I didn't think anyone would leave the bags behind, but if by chance they somehow got lost, at least the plastic wouldn't be as destructive to the woodlands we were walking in.

The green-ness is the key feature of the bags over something like a Ziploc or Glad bag. Not only are they biodegradable but they are also BPA-free and they are made from 100% recycled paperboard. Yes, paperboard. And, they're made in the USA.

At snack time, the bright colors are a big draw to my son. I doubt he'll learn the four character names but there is Sammy the Surfer, Scout the Soccer Player, Bailey the Bubble Maker, and Dusty the Diver. They are sandwich sized but the top is a little snug to squeeze in a sandwich. So, we're sticking to snacks with them.

The bags are really fun and a great green alternative to all the plastic we throw away. The kids do love them as they're certainly more playful than boring clear bags. They truly are recyclable but it feels weird throwing away something that feels like plastic in with the paper.

Want to try them yourself? Sure, you can pick them up at Amazon, but why bother. Become a fan of theirs on Facebook, take a survey, and get some free bags and a $1 coupon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
