Enter to win $1,000 in the Back to School Blast Giveaway. Ends 8/15.

Welcome to the Back to School Blast!

Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.
1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist - Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 and add their name to the top.

2. If you shop at Staples, pick up a Back to School Savings Pass for $10. This will allow you to save 15% off most school supplies. You don't even need to have a kid, as the pass is good for lots of office supplies, too.
3. Don't be afraid to take advantage of a store's price matching policy. You won't have to run around as much.
4. Don't feel you have to get all your supplies at once. If you have the time, watch the sales and coupon matches and spread out your purchases to get the best prices.
5. Don't forget to submit rebate forms. If something is free after rebate and you don't submit the rebate, you just lost your savings.

  12. My best tip, after five kids, is to visit the classroom or classrooms before school starts every year. Whether it's elementary, middle, or high school, it will take away the worry about finding their classes, which is a huge one for kids. I'm sorry I was unable to subscribe to blogs, for some reason feedburner is saying my email is invalid, but it's my email, sooo. Lol heather.alexander91@yahoo.com
