  1. This is a big event. I am thinking of signing up but then i remembered I probably not around this dates to promote the giveaway. Thanks for this info.

    1. As long as you can get the main HTML posted, there are tools to help automate the promotion part.

  2. Do you have a link to explain exactly how these giveaway's work for those of us new to blogging? I don't know what RC means or the concept even of these giveaways.

    1. RC stands for Rafflecopter. It is one of the widgets used to collect entries for giveaways. PromoSimple is another. Giveaway Tools is a third. I think I'm missing one more.

If you're new to blogging... with most of these blogger opportunities I post... you need to post an "announcement" (like this post here) to announce the giveaway. Bloggers then signup and typically provide their Twitter/Pinterest links to be included in the giveaway as options for people to get entries. Those are usually free. If you want more links in the giveaway, typically you would need to pay.

Then, when the giveaway happens, the host emails you the HTML to post for the giveaway. You post, adding some of your own verbage to make unique. Then people can enter either on your site or any of the others who agreed to host.

Then... readers would enter the giveaway with the hope that they will agree to friend/fan/follow the link you provided.
