The Blog Workshop
Okay, it was a virtual conference and I never left the house but I thought I would throw my two cents out there about the whole conference. I got to attend the The Blog Workshop conference for free in return for promoting the event here.

Over this past weekend, I got to attend the conference. It was a series of after hours sessions to help me get a better grasp of the blogsphere world. I've only been doing this for just over five months so I thought I could learn a few things. Impressions of the conference? The talks were helpful but I think I got more from the networking. This is not to knock the speakers or the coordinators, as all the information was great. Over the long term though, I'll get more from the relationships created with other bloggers. I met many other bloggers who have been doing this longer and they were more than willing to share pointers.

I tried to live tweet throughout the conference (tweets). Hopefully I didn't overwhelm you with #TBWC13 tweets. I didn't tweet much compared to some others as I was mostly trying to listen to the speakers.

Hopefully, you, my readers, will find a better blog here as a result of my attendance.

  1. Hi John,

Glad to hear about your experience with the conference. Networking and building solid relationships is just as important as valuable information, I'm glad you were able to make some good connections!

Recordings will be available soon and we have a surprise going out for our #TBWC13 attendees soon. Hope to see you at our SEO workshop with Dan R. Morris :) June 26th!
