Boston Marathon Bombing

Conan O'Brien

"My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Boston and everyone who has been affected by this senseless act," Beantown native Conan O'Brien says in his monologue.
I work a little over a mile away from today's incident. All I can say is wow. All I can ask is why? I was planning on leaving work an hour early to head down to the finish line. I would have gotten there about 10 minutes later had I left when I originally planned. I got busy and never had the chance to go.

I literally used to work across the street from where things happened in the John Hancock Tower. I would have had a front row seat to watch.

This is my last week in my current job downtown. I'll be working outside the city again. I think this is good timing and will welcome the change.
